Sam Brereton rounded off a great year of schools athletics winning the Schools International at Swansea.
This event follows on from the E.S.A.A. National Championships last weekend and includes the best athletes selected from that competition from the home countries – England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This year the event took place at Swansea University Athletics Stadium on Saturday 20th July.
Representing England, Sam won the Intermediate boys high jump with a superb height of 2.09. Furthermore, England teams secured the top positions for both boys & girls.
