The Association was awarded a World Heritage plaque on the 16th of May 2025 on the date that ESAA was founded in 1925. On this day we became the third youth-based organisation in the world to be awarded the plaque. The plaque will be presented by Jon Ridgeon, World Athletics CEO, at our Centenary Track and Field Championships, during the parade on the Saturday.
